Are you a graduate of MPHS or a community member with an interest in the school's new mascot? We want to hear from you! The MPHS Mascot Committee is entering into an exciting phase of the process. They have reached the point of gathering mascot ideas and will soon begin to narrow that long list of ideas down to a short list, and eventually, to their top choice. Please follow this link: https://bit.ly/MPHSMascotSurvey to complete the survey. Go to https://bit.ly/MPHSZoom to join a special online meeting with MPHS Principal Brian Tinsley this Saturday, October 30 from 10-11:00 a.m. At this meeting you will have the opportunity to review the list of possibilities, gain insight into the students' thoughts about which of those ideas rise to the top, and help finalize the short list that will go back before the Mascot Committee next week. For more information, go to https://www.msd25.org/article/570338.

***Letter that went out to all copied below for the link and bell schedule tomorrow :) Good Evening MPHS students and families, Tomorrow, 10/20 will be our first advisory. I have attached the slides that will be used so that students can also see them on their own if they are absent from school. Please make sure to bring a charged chromebook, your charger, and corded headphones for Thursdays tests. For 11th and 12th Grade Running Start Students, please plan on completing your tests in the MPHS Library on Friday November 5th, starting at 7:15 AM. This will allow our testing day to not interfere with your classes at EVCC. Students who attend AM RAP/Skill Center will attend those programs as normally scheduled and test in the Library at MPHS on 10/21 for juniors and 10/26 for seniors once they return and have eaten lunch. There will be plenty of time to complete both tests. Students who attend PM RAP/Skill Center will test in the morning at MPHS with their scheduled advisor on 10/21 for juniors and 10/26 for seniors and then leave for their PM classes. Here are the slides for tomorrow. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FGGtucHRS_TqZw849eD5jVEJ5YOLzuH2gLsz8q-OG_M/edit?usp=sharing Thank you, MPHS admin team. -- Jim Barth Assistant Principal Marysville Pilchuck High School 5611 108th St. N.E. Marysville-Pilchuck High School is in the beginning stages of naming and appointing a new mascot. Because of house bill 1356, we have been given a strict timeline of appointing a new mascot. Work with the community, students, families and school staff will be done to rename our mascot over the next two months. Marysville-Pilchuck will still hold on to its traditional culture and remain an inclusive place for students to learn and serve their community. We are looking for your initial input and we greatly appreciate your time and feedback as you have an important voice in this decision. Please fill out the information on this survey to help start the collaboration of appointing a new mascot. Link to Community/Parent Survey: https://forms.gle/ePhUoLyddCVCdoGq7
