The Highly Capable Program Information Night for parents and guardians is tonight, Wednesday, December 18, at 6:00 p.m. at the Marysville Getchell High School Campus, 8301 84th Street NE. The meeting will be held in Building A and will include a group presentation and breakout sessions to share information on various program areas.

12/18/24, 6:40 a.m.: The district is experiencing intermittent power outages at Marysville Getchell High School and Sunnyside Elementary School. PUD is working to restore power as soon as possible. We will provide an update as soon as more information is received. Currently, there are no school schedule modifications.

The MSD Board of Directors will hold two work study sessions on school closures on December 9 and 12 at 4:30 p.m. in the board room. The board is also seeking feedback on the current options. Go to https://bit.ly/SchoolClosureFeedback to access the form.

Out of an abundance of caution, Marysville School District will hold a 2-hour late start for all schools and transportation to out-of-district programs on Wednesday, 11/20, due to power outages and downed trees and power lines. There will be no AM Skill Center transportation or half-day preschool classes (AM or PM).

Hello Marysville School District Families, The Migrant Education Program will be hosting our annual "Day of the Dead" event on Monday 11/4/24 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Marysville Pilchuck Commons. We would love for you all to join us. There will be food, music, cultural performances, and activities for families. We encourage everyone to wear their favorite catrin(a) outfits. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn about the many different opportunities available during AND after high school. Vendors will include colleges, universities, trade schools, unions, tribal, city, & state agencies, local businesses, CTE programs, and much more! School starts on Thursday, August 29, for students in grades 1 - 5, 6, and 9 only; grades 1 - 12 attend on Friday, August 30. Dear Parents, Staff, and Community Members, We’re excited to announce the upcoming fundraisers for this school year, and we’d love for you to join us in making these events a great success! Mark your calendars for two fun-filled events in November. Supports Students, Staff, and Sports. Cornhole Tournament - November 9th Get ready for a day of friendly competition at our annual Cornhole Tournament! Here are the details: Date: Saturday, November 9th Time: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Cost: $100.00 per team (food and water provided; discounted alcohol available) Location: Volli Marysville This year, we’re expecting around 40 teams to participate! In addition to the tournament, there will be a silent auction, "Raise the Paddle" money donations, and a variety of fan gear for sale from our Boosters. This is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids! Auction Donations Needed: We are asking staff and coaches to help us create themed baskets for the silent auction. In previous years, the football teams split by grade level and contributed four baskets – we'd love to see similar participation this year! Here are the details: Dates: Saturday, November 16th & Sunday, November 17th Cost: $75 for the weekend ($60 Early Bird special until October 15th) Location: Marysville Pilchuck High School Gym So far, we have a small clothing boutique, a hat bar, kettle corn, and a hot chocolate stand.
