State Testing begins next week! On Tuesday and Wednesday of the next two weeks (April 17,18, 24 &25) MPHS will have an altered schedule so that we can proctor the Smarter Balanced Assessment in English/Language Arts and Math. All sophomores and any juniors or seniors who have not met standard are assigned to a testing location during the testing time (7:30-10) on these days. Meeting standard in these two areas is a graduation requirement for grades 10-12.

Junior & Senior Options Night at MP Library. Wednesday, April 11th, 6-7 pm. This is an informational night for next year's juniors and seniors. The goal is for students/families to learn about options like AP, College in the High School, Sno-Isle, and Running Start. All students and families are welcome.
Special Bell Schedule on Friday, March 30th. Early Release @ 11:45 am with Advisory. Regular bells Monday - Thursday.

STAMP Test!
Is English your second language? Would you like to take the STAMP test to see if you can earn high school credit for your knowledge of your first language? Please stop by and see your counselor to get more information about this opportunity. The test will take place on March 15th, but you need to sign up before February 9th. See your counselor with any questions.

Cocoa, cookies, and Cram! On January 22nd ASB is providing a cram session Any students who would like to cram for the Semester 1 finals can come to the commons from 5-7 pm to study with their friends. Tutors from Honor Society will be on hand to help. ASB will provide cookies and hot cocoa.

Would you like to join MPHS Administrators on a learning walk?
Learning walks are brief classroom visits, about 10 minutes in length, where you can get a glimpse of the amazing learning happening at Marysville Pilchuck High School. All you have to do is show up! There will be coffee, a few short classroom visits, and a debriefing session with time for discussion and an opportunity to provide feedback.
Parents, extended family, and community members can all take part in these learning walks. Please contact Toni or Aimee in the main office at 360-695-2000 to sign up for this opportunity.
