Chromebook Collection, Summer School Info
Link to document: https://5il.co/80a3
The Marysville School District typically collects student Chromebooks at the end of each school year. If your student is/or will enroll in summer school, there may be need to use the Chromebook for school work during the summer months. If you would like to keep the Chromebook over the summer, please read through and fill the form linked below with your parent / guardian. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
Summer use of district technology still must adhere to district policies. Filtering will remain in place, and online activity is recorded for retrieval at a later date if necessary. Additionally, we are not able to offer insurance for the summer months, so any damage or issue that is not warranty related as determined by MSD technology will be the responsibility of the student/family. Fines will be assessed, if necessary, in the fall when the Chromebook is inspected again. Seniors must turn in their Chromebooks to the designated summer school staff on or before the last day of summer school.
Here is the link to the form agreement: https://forms.gle/BLvaKgE8CKxfKPVu7
To keep your Chromebook over the summer, you must be enrolled in summer school AND have filled out this form, otherwise your Chromebook will be collected on the school's designated collection day.
