Seniors ~ it is time to take your class photo for the yearbook! You will report to the gym with your advisory class on March 30th to participate in the photo. If you are not on campus at this time you may also sign up for an individual photo in the link below and we will photoshop you in. Please be sure to wear your black senior gear or a plain black shirt. If you feel uncomfortable sitting in close proximity to others or are unable to be present at the time of the photo due to off-campus classes, please respond to the survey sent to your email or found on the mghsyearbook Instagram. Advisory is at 8:10 am for students participating in off-campus programs.

Getchell Students & Families
The PSAT assessment is taking place March 1st & the SAT assessment is taking place Wednesday, March 2nd. All Sophomores have been registered to take the PSTA and all Juniors have been registered to take the SAT. Testing will take place in the Gym on the MGHS campus. Check-in will begin on the morning of testing at 6:45 in the E/F Commons and the test will start at 7:15 promptly. Testing should end around 12:00. A sack lunch will be offered to all students who signed up for one. To help students prepare for the SAT there are Student Guide books. If you are full-time running start, you can stop by the Getchell campus to pick up their booklet from the cashier in the E/F Commons or go to collegeboard.org to download a copy. Please remind your student to leave their backpacks, bags, cell phones or any other electronics at home or in their cars as they are not permitted in the testing room. Students must bring the following with them on test day:
An acceptable calculator (for use only on sections that permit its use)
Suggested: Extra batteries and a backup calculator. Testing staff will not provide batteries or calculators for test taker use. Students may not share a calculator with another test-taker. Students can find more information about acceptable calculators at collegeboard.org.
Students may also bring a snack and drinks which will be stored in the E/F Commons until appropriate breaks.
Lunch will not be offered until the end of testing so remember to eat a healthy filling breakfast the morning of testing. Please communicate to your student that it is important to be present on the days of testing. Thank you and have a good day.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The 2021-2022 Junior Student Achievement Award Program sponsored by the Crystal Lodge #122 F.&.A.M. is open and accepting applications. Applications may be obtained from Ms. Coragiulo, Career & College Readiness Counselor, in room C214 and are due back to Ms. C no later than February 28, 2022. All awards are based on scholastic achievement, community service, citizenship, and evaluation of written responses.
