Students & Families, Getchell is offering additional Academic Support most Saturdays from now through the end of the school year. Saturday School is 8:30am to 11:30am and snacks will be provided. If you are interested in attending Saturday School you must sign up first. Come to the main office if you would like to register.

Grove Elementary student and Marysville Little League player, Ellie Petermeyer, will throw out the first pitch. Go teams! Dear Marysville Getchell Families, On February 23, 2022, the Marysville School District Board of Directors adopted two resolutions that ask Marysville and Tulalip voters to reconsider two replacement levy measures on April 26. These revised measures reflect the feedback that the school district received from our community. Successful passage of levies is critical for the educational programs and services students receive including extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, music, and the arts, access to technology along with the maintenance of the facilities where students learn and grow. The replacement levies have a combined lower tax rate that reduces the burden of cost to taxpayers by .87 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value. During the month of March, community round table discussions are scheduled for each Board of Director district area. Come and meet school district leadership staff and our area board member to learn more about the levy measures, costs, funding, and impacts on Monday, March 28th at 7:30pm. Congrats to MG Class of 2020 graduate Maddy Grandbois and the WWU Vikings on securing their spot in the final 4 of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament. Their next game is vs. North Georgia at 6:30pm pacific time on Wednesday – it will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
