Dear Marysville Getchell Families,
On February 23, 2022, the Marysville School District Board of Directors adopted two resolutions that ask Marysville and Tulalip voters to reconsider two replacement levy measures on April 26. These revised measures reflect the feedback that the school district received from our community. Successful passage of levies is critical for the educational programs and services students receive including extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, music, and the arts, access to technology along with the maintenance of the facilities where students learn and grow.
The replacement levies have a combined lower tax rate that reduces the burden of cost to taxpayers by .87 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value.
During the month of March, community round table discussions are scheduled for each Board of Director district area. Come and meet school district leadership staff and our area board member to learn more about the levy measures, costs, funding, and impacts on Monday, March 28th at 7:30pm.
We look forward to seeing you!
