Jennica Harper the MP swim captain and Shelby Sawyer the MG swim captain. The girls swim teams practice and bond together all season. These two girls are amazing friends and captains. A great example of how two schools can compete but still be so close!
These Lil' #Chargers worked hard last week to show off their stuff at the big homecoming game where MGHS was the victor! Big thanks to Marysville Getchell High School cheer squad for sharing the excitement around fall sports with our littlest students!

District Wide Financial Aide Night
UPDATE - 6:34 AM: This morning, school and district administration met with school staff. The safety of students is our top priority and staff has been reminded to be extra vigilant. School will run on a normal schedule, and Marysville Pilchuck will have extra police and staff presence as students arrive and throughout the day. If you choose to keep your child home today, please make sure to call the attendance line at 360-965-2001. Absences will be excused. Safety Notification, 4:10 PM: On Tuesday, September 25, at approximately 2:30 p.m., school administration became aware of a handwritten message on a bathroom wall at Marysville Pilchuck High School. The message stated that there would be a shooting on Thursday. We take all information of this nature seriously and our staff immediately put a safety plan in motion. We notified the Marysville Police Department and out of an abundance of caution we felt it important to notify our families. We continue to work with law enforcement in our decision-making process and plan to operate school on a normal schedule tomorrow. Parents and students will be notified of any changes. Please know that safety is our top priority. We will take all precautions to keep all students and staff safe. Read the complete letter at https://goo.gl/z6eqSJ

“The Washington State Science Standards have really improved the engagement for our students. When you go into a science classroom, you see kids collaborating, working in groups, and really using their hands and their minds as their working together to solve problems.” Stephanie Clark, Principal Cedarcrest Middle School.
