Marysville Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is showing Beauty and the Beast on Thursday, August 24 from 7:30 - 11 p.m. outside of the OC building at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Admission is free, but be sure to bring your own chairs and blankets.
NJROTC boosters will be selling popcorn, hot dogs, drinks, candy, etc.
Be sure to wear your Beauty and the Beast costumes. There will be a contest for those who are 3-15.

Thanks to the amazing work of the Marysville Community Food Bank and their volunteers, as well as the businesses, organizations and community members who donated school supplies and funds, they were able to fill 123 backpacks and bags of supplies for families and kids that signed up for support! Thank you Creo Dentistry, Heritage Bank, Marysville Fire District, City of Marysville WA - government, Marysville Farmers Market, ProAction Physical Therapy, and HomeStreet Bank for your commitment to Marysville students and families! Schools supplies can still be donated to the Marysville Community Food Bank and at the Marysville Farmers Market this Saturday, August 19!

Reading with Royalty is a hit! Come to Pinewood Elementary Wednesday, August 9, 16 and 23, 9 a.m. - noon to read with the Marysville Strawberry Festival's Queen Sarah, Princess Denise, and Junior Royalty Elizabeth, Jimena and Rozlynn!


Your local rotary is committed to supporting early literacy. A big “Thank You” to Marysville Rotary for their generous contribution to Kellogg Marsh Elementary in support of their Reading on the Road Program. This donation allows Kellogg Marsh staff to reach beyond the classroom to meet kids and families where they are! The Reading on the Road Program will have their final event at Jennings Park this Wednesday, August 9. There will be books, snacks and popsicles, and the YMCA will host active games for the kids! You won’t want to miss out on the fun!

Have time to volunteer this weekend? Join The Grove Church this Saturday, August 5 at Pinewood Elementary from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in support of the "I Heart Marysville" Program. These dedicated community members will spend the day cleaning up the campus and getting it ready to welcome students in September! Join them!
