REMINDER: K - 5 Chromebook Check-out today, Thursday, March 26, 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
Just a few missed days here and there, even if they’re excused absences, can add up to too much lost learning time and put your student behind in school. This is as true in kindergarten as it is in high school. Be a #HERO...Here Everyday Ready On Time!
Meals provided for youth ages 1 - 18 at all school sites are "grab and go" style. No sit-down, cafeteria-style service.
We Love our Volunteers! However, due to an abundance of caution for the health of our students, as well as your health, visitors and volunteers will be welcomed back in our classrooms when the district gives approval, which is anticipated to be around March 22. So, until further notice volunteers and visitors will not be allowed in classrooms. Thank for your understanding.
Buses will operate on their normal routes on 3/6 to transport students to school and home. Transportation will not be impacted by the closure of Pinewood, Sunnyside, or MGHS.
Pinewood Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, and Marysville Getchell High School are CLOSED Friday, 3/6/20 for disinfecting. This is out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of students, families, and staff.

March 13 is a school make up day! School will be in session following the Friday early release schedule.

Please join us on Thursday, February 6 from 6:00-7:30 for Pinewood’s Reading Night. There will be different activities – such as reading with rover – reading to real live dogs, book making sessions, read aloud stations and parents can learn about Imagine Learning and tips for reading at home. Activities will take place in the A, B, C, and D Units, the Art Room and the Library. We will have maps available for you that evening.
Students may bring gently used books to school before reading night to exchange for other books. You may bring as many books as you like, but may take home up to five “new” books.
We look forward to seeing you there!
