The purpose of the Associated Student Body (ASB) is to involve all students in becoming active members of the school community. A wide variety of clubs, activities and events play an integral role in increasing participation and encouraging student growth in the areas of belonging, self-actualization, community service and school pride. The ASB is the governing organization regarding all school activities and all action directly regarding student rights. ASB Officers are elected from each grade level and represent the student body as a whole.>span class="Apple-converted-space">
The following are some of the activities that the ASB team plans that help build a community atmosphere and creates a cohesive student body: dances, spirit weeks, assemblies, fundraising, food drives and student recognition just to name a few. Purchasing an ASB card provides the support necessary for student activities. All students who would like to participate in school sports must be an ASB card holder.
