Hello Seniors!
This email is for students planning on attending a college, trade, or apprenticeship program after graduation.
Financial Aid and Scholarship deadlines are fast approaching, but there's still time to apply! Financial aid helps many students pay for education beyond high school, and more families in Washington are now eligible. You might qualify now even if you didn’t before!
NOTE: If you are College Bound Scholarship eligible, you MUST complete the FAFSA/WASFA to receive your benefits.
I've teamed up with College Success Foundation to provide hands-on help to submit your FAFSA/WASFA. These will be the last workshops of the year so PLEASE take advantage.
Students who complete their Financial Aid application in one of these workshops will be entered for a chance to win AirPods, an Instax Mini Camera, Seefilm Cinema Tickets, or a gift card.
ALL STUDENTS who complete their Financial Aid application during these workshops will receive a gift card.
Here are the documents needed to complete both applications:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA)
Financial aid can be used for many types of full-time or part-time education or training, including career and technical schools, community colleges, some apprenticeships, and yes, universities too. There are options that get you into a career sooner or right away!
