The Marysville School District held its second district-wide student recognition breakfast to honor students who have received awards through community organizations including Kiwanis Club, and Marysville Soroptimist, and Indian Education.
“It is such a beautiful thing to witness our staff and families coming together to celebrate the wonderful successes of our students in such a meaningful way,” said Jason Thompson, Superintendent.
Soroptimist and Kiwanis students of the month include:
Marysville Getchell High School: Ian Crosby and Elise Sumsion
Legacy High School: Xanth Moen and Trinity Baron-Soss
Marysville Pilchuck High School: Alexis Bennett, and T.J. Severn
Indian Education students of the quarter include:
Quil Ceda Tulalip: Brutal Madrigal and Maleia Kicking Woman
Marysville Middle School: Dominik Kendrick
Marysville Pilchuck High School: Melissa Carpenter-Hammons
The breakfast was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the District’s Child Nutrition Services Department, Transportation, Board of Directors, Superintendent’s office, and most importantly, the students and their families.
The Marysville School District is proud of each of our students and congratulates those who have received awards and recognition for their accomplishments. “We would like to thank our families and service organizations for their partnership,” said Superintendent Thompson.
