Welcome to our Kellogg Marsh Families. Kindergarten is a very exciting time for children and their families. The first step in a child's school career can be filled with anticipation and wonder about what lies ahead. The staff at Kellogg Marsh is dedicated to making the start of kindergarten a happy, exciting and successful experience for all. If you have not registered your child yet, please stop by the office for a packet. A certified copy of the birth certificate and immunizations will be needed.The office will be open on Monday, August 20th. We look forward to meeting with you. If you have already registered, during the month of August you will be receiving in the mail information regarding WaKids pre-assessment, which is a state requirement, with your child's assessment time and teacher assignment prior to the beginning of school.

Welcome Back! Come join us as we kick off the 2019-2020 school year at Kellogg Marsh Elementary! Date: Aug 28, 2019 Time: 5:30-7:30 5:30-6:30-Kindergarten-2nd grades check-in tables will be in front of school for classroom assignments. 6:30-7:30-3rd-5th grade students check-in tables will be in front of school for classroom assignments. Stop by rooms to meet teachers, drop off supplies (optional), and get information packet. PTA sponsored Ice cream social gathering in the front of the building. Ice cream will be $2 to $4 or receive a ticket for 1 free if you join PTA! Spirit wear will be for sale too! Hope to see everyone there!!! Office hours are from 8:00 –3:30 p.m Starting August 20th. Closed 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Reading on the Road Summer reading program

Tomorrow, Friday, June 21, is the last day of school! Students will be in attendance for two hours. Schools will have activities planned tomorrow so attendance is important! Be there or be square! Have a happy and safe summer! We <3 our students!

Reading Under the Stars Kellogg Marsh Elementary May 23,2019 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Camp guide Activity Book Free Books, Popcorn and Cotton candy Bring your blanket or sleeping bag to read under the stars. We would like to invite our 2019-2020 Kindergartners to enjoy the activities.

Book Drive We are asking for your donations of New or Gently used books May 6th –May 10th Books will be used as give aways for “Reading under the Stars” and Summer reading program.

April 25th Kellogg Marsh 4/5th graders will be visiting "Engineering Days" at the University of Washington.

Spring Pictures Class pictures will be April 11th

Spring Break Spring Break is April 1st through April 5th. School will resume April 8th.

“March into Kindergarten” Kellogg Marsh will be hosting Kindergarten Registration night. March 14th @6:00pm Come visit Kindergarten classrooms, meet teachers and tour the school. Rudy the Raccoon will be here with a school bus for students to explore. Registration packets will be available for those students turning 5 years old by Aug. 31st. Please bring a copy of child’s certified birth certificate and current immunizations. Let the Journey Begin!

Come ask questions and find out if we are a good option for your student! ~Briefly about our school~  We have a capped enrollment of 60—6th graders (If transfer requests exceed 60, a lottery will be used to select students)  We feature a core curriculum that includes 3 years of Band, Art, and PE/Health  We have 7 teachers on staff that will help your student grow academically through their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years  We advocate student responsibility  We have a strong Parent Booster group that helps us provide multiple field trips and community activities  For the option to attend, fill out an In-District Transfer Form by February 28, 2019 Date: February 20, 2019 Time: 6 p.m.—7 p.m. Location: 10th Street School, 7204 27th AVE NE
