Native American students in the 6th-12th grades looking for school support such as getting on-line, accessing Chromebooks and getting homework support, the Tulalip Tribes education department is offering on-site support for students who need access to laptops, WiFi, and homework support. Social distanced laptops and space provided Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5 PM at the Tulalip Youth Center. Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided. Please see attached flyer for more information.

Welcome to the 2020 school year. Classes officially start Wednesday 9/9. They will then attend periods 1, 2, and 3 over Zoom. 1st period starts at 11:35. 7th & 8th Grade - Students will log in to Google Classroom to attend periods 1, 2, and 3 over Zoom. 1st period starts at 11:35. Teachers will share a Google Form in their classroom for students to take attendance. Students need to complete this attendance form every day! We look forward to seeing you all on Zoom!

Good News! Free Meals Program Extended The USDA recently passed a waiver to extend the free meals program into the fall. This extension means that our school district will be able to continue to provide free meals for all children ages 1 - 18 and those enrolled in our online and 18 - 21-year old programs. This good news significantly impacts our program and the ways we can provide meal services for children. We had recently shared that the free meal program had ended and adjusted the way that meals would be available. With the new extension, we are now working on developing our meal distribution procedure for the start of school and into the fall. It will be different from the spring and the summer in some ways, but most importantly, we will be able to continue to provide free meals for children. Please stay tuned for more information in the coming days.

Good afternoon, Cedarcrest 6th Grade Families! We are excited to have you as part of our Cedarcrest Family. We are inviting 6th grade families to come to the school to pick up their Chromebooks on the following dates and times: 9/1 Tuesday 9-10 Last name A-D 10:15-11 Last name E-K 11:15-12 Last name L-Q 12:15-1 Last name R-Z 9/3 Thursday  3-3:30 Last name A-D 3:45-4:15 Last name E-K 4:30-5pm Last name L-Q 5:15-6pm Last name R-Z  To make sure we are efficient in the distribution, please do your best to adhere to the listed time frames to help us maintain social distancing. When you arrive, please follow the signs to the Chromebook Distribution Area. We will be limiting the number of families allowed in the building and ask that you limit the number of family members you bring with you to two if possible. This will not be a time to meet teachers, discuss chromebook usage/passwords, or tour the school. A 6th grade Welcome Letter will be distributed on this day, as well as sent out electronically, which will contain important information to help you with logins, class schedules, and other helpful resources. This will be for 6th grade chromebook pick up only. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. TO: Families and Students RE: Pick-up and Drop-Off of Student Items Hello Cedarcrest families and students, Pick up/ Drop off days for students is June 8th, 9th, 10th. This is a drive up event only. Please do not attend if you are currently ill or have been ill recently. This includes coughing, fever, sore throat, fatigue, nausea, and shortness of breath. Drivers will arrive in the bus entrance (the west parking lot) and pull forward in the bus drop-off area closest to the school. A staff member will come out to meet you at your car. If you are unable to arrive by car, please email us ahead of time at robert_stoddard@msd25.org Last name arrival times each day: A-I 9-10am J-Q 10:30-11:30am R-Z 12-1pm Pick up Hallway locker materials PE clothes Band items Medication from Health Room Drop off items Sports uniforms - Please place in a plastic bag and mark with student name, ID number, and sport Classroom books or textbooks - Label with your teacher’s name School library books Chromebook, charger and carrying case - Only required if leaving the district or concerned about keeping over the summer Classroom items can be picked up next fall unless there is a necessity. Bus on Wheels for Free Meals Mon-Friday 11:30-12:30 Beginning Monday, March 23, buses began delivery of meals mid-morning every day. The daily schedule is based on the elementary morning bus routes, although not at the usual times. Grab and go meals from the bus locations will continue to be at no cost and for all youth ages 1 - 18 and those enrolled in our 18 - 21-year program.
