#MSD25's Annual In-District Transfer Request/Choice Transfer Request (Out-of-District Variance) period for the 2018-2019 school year ends this Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Forms are available at each school building and the District Office located at 4220 80th Street NE, Marysville, WA 98270. While it is always recommended to enroll your child in your neighborhood school, we do understand that at times circumstances exist that create the need to enroll in a school outside of your neighborhood school boundary area. More details can be found at http://www.msd25.org/o/District/page/register-for-school

Student advocacy is awesome! These Arts and Technology students visited our state capitol last week to speak to legislators about the importance of Career and Technical Education! Being career and college-ready is critical for student success and we can't thank them enough for their efforts on behalf of all Washington CTE students!

The Marysville Getchell’s Ocean Bowl Team has studied hard and they are on their way to the Orca Bowl Competition tomorrow! Join us in wishing them well and consider spending your Saturday at the University of Washington to watch this intense competition. The Orca Bowl challenges and recognizes Washington state’s high school students’ knowledge of the world’s oceans. Just 20 schools have made it in, and only the 1st place team will go on to Nationals! Good luck students!

It was a very celebratory board meeting tonight! The board heard amazing speeches from our Strawberry Festival Royalty Candidates, cheered the NINE new security cameras at Pinewood Elementary, thanked our Marysville voters for passing our two levies, adopted a resolution urging state and federal leaders to increase federal special education funding and make meaningful special education reforms at the federal and state levels, and finally, celebrated two awesome Marysville Kiwanis and Marysville Soroptimists students of the month, Chanel Desenberg and Fatima Al-Rikabi of Marysville Pilchuck High School! Way to go TEAM #MSD25!
