AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a kindergarten through postsecondary college readiness system designed to increase the number of students who enroll and succeed in higher education and in their lives beyond high school. The AVID elective class, which is offered at all of our middle and high schools, is intended to benefit those students who have the desire and potential to attend college but need additional academic and social supports.
