Did you know…. that students enrolled in CTE education are increasingly high performers, with higher graduation rates and have impressive post-secondary enrollment rates. High school graduation rates for CTE concentrators is about 93%. Approximately 10 percentage points higher than the national average. In fact, all 50 states and Washington, D.C. report higher graduation rates for secondary CTE students than for all students. This month we celebrated Disability Awareness Month. National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is a national campaign held in October that raises awareness about employment issues for disabled people, and celebrates the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities. At their October 1 Board of Directors meeting, the school board adopted Resolution 2018-22 recognizing October as Disability Awareness Month.
