The Marysville School District In-District Transfer Process opens on February 1, 2024. Go to https://www.msd25.org/page/student-transfer-information for details. While it is always recommended to enroll your child in your resident area (neighborhood/boundary) school, we do understand that, at times, circumstances exist that create the need to enroll in a school outside of your resident area school.
Following this process is a request for a change in your student's school placement. Transfers are primarily based on space availability. The request is not a guarantee of placement.
UPDATE: at 8:25 am, out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our students and staff, we have made the decision to close schools today. We will continue to monitor weather conditions for tomorrow. All after-school activities, including meetings, events, and activities, are canceled, including all athletic events, practices, the pool, the 21st Century Program, and scheduled facility rentals. Stay Safe and Warm.

Dear Marysville School District families, staff, and community members,
The district is pleased to share that district leadership and labor groups have an upcoming meeting scheduled to discuss the district’s financial situation. Therefore, the second community budget meeting scheduled for December 6 at 7:00 pm is temporarily postponed. Our work together toward solutions requires more time. These discussions are crucial in our path forward and will help to develop a first draft budget plan to present to the community.
Your feedback is critical. The district is committed to seeking feedback from families, staff, and the community throughout this process. Once an initial plan is developed, the district will organize follow-up opportunities to present the plan, address any questions, and gather additional feedback from the community.
The district and school board appreciates your understanding and support as we navigate this important process. Please continue to check the dedicated webpage for budget information and updates at https://www.msd25.org/page/budget-2023-2024. This page will regularly update with new information and responses to frequently asked questions.
If you have any questions or comments about the district's financial status or the budget, please feel free to contact us through Let's Talk at https://www.msd25.org/o/district/page/lets-talk. There are many dedicated and informed people working together to find solutions to resolve our current financial challenges. We will get through this together. Thank you for your understanding and continued engagement with the Marysville School District.
Join us for a presentation on the District’s Budget Reduction Plan (first draft). After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and comment on the budget challenges.
Please join us for a community meeting to hear updates on the District’s current financial state on Tuesday, November 28, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the commons at Marysville Pilchuck High School located at 5611 108th Street NE, Marysville. The meeting will also be available to join via Zoom.
