Totem Middle School students enrolled in Mr. Sandberg's Technical Communications course were thrilled to be visited by Terry Thoren, CEO of Wonder Media LLC, on the morning of September 9th.
Thoren created the program Wondermedia Story Maker which has been added to the Technical Communications course, a CTE program in the Marysville School District. It teaches students the process of creating studio-quality animations from start to finish.
Thoren also worked on “The Rugrats,” “The Simpsons,” and “The Wild Thornberrys.” He kindly gifted the Technical Communications classroom a Rugrats banner from his years as the CEO.
Thoren said he plans to visit the classrooms on Zoom this school year to check in with students. Students were engaged in the presentation and asked Thoren many questions. He said he "can't wait to see the quality films [students] are going to make."
