Dr. Zachary Robbins

School board president Paul Galovin shared the following statement on behalf of the Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors would like to share some of our findings that supported our unanimous decision to offer the position to Dr. Robbins, including:

  • His ability to elevate our students and shine a positive light inside and outside of our district.

  • His success in creating safe, productive learning environments for all students and staff.

  • The added value that he will bring to our district leadership team.

  • The positive impact of his outreach model to families is what Marysville and Tulalip deserve and needs in order to build trust in our communities.

  • Dr. Robbins has a background in raising funds for schools and has earned his MBA, this will have an appeal to our business partners and taxpayers alike.

Our belief is that he will bring together the Marysville School District in new ways to improve our students' academic success while building up their confidence. Dr. Robbins shows an aptitude for creating, caring for, and building relationships - nothing short of what Marysville needs.

The Board still needs to negotiate a successful contract with Dr. Robbins. We are confident that if a contract is ratified, Dr. Robbins will be just what the students, families, staff, the district, and its allies need to move us forward in a positive direction.
