Dr. Zak Palsha, a finalist in the Marysville School District’s Superintendent search has withdrawn his application. Dr. Palsha officially notified the search firm GR Recruiting over the weekend of his intent shared Dr. Kris McDuffy, the lead consultant. “At the request of his current board, Dr. Palsha has made the decision to remain in Kuwait to complete construction projects that will occur over the next year” she added.

Marysville’s school board is moving forward in the process. The Board will meet in executive session on February 22nd to deliberate on the two remaining finalists; Dr. Peggy Aune and Dr. Zac Robbins. Deliberations will include the review of all feedback received from students, families, staff, and community members following the finalist's visits to the school district last week.
