Budget Advisory Committee

The Marysville School District seeks interested parents/guardians, community members, and staff to participate in the district's Budget Advisory Committee for the 2025 - 2026 budget planning process. The committee provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the school district budgeting process and educational funding, including revenues and expenditures from local, state, and federal entities. Committee members will also give input, ask questions, and provide feedback on the process as the district plans for and sets the budget for the 2025-2026 school year. 

The district seeks a diverse and balanced group of up to 25 participants, including parents (Preschool through grade 12), community members, and staff (excluding those who will serve as technical advisors and support to the committee). 

The first meeting will be later in January. Once the committee is finalized, committee members will be emailed the date and time of the meeting. Meetings will be held in person with a virtual option.
