Students Share Academic Insights With Peers in New Video Series

A new video series features students sharing academic insights, such as preparing for state testing and SATs, passing 9th-grade classes, and the benefits of AP classes with their classmates and peers.

Msvl. WA – For students, sometimes reminders to try your best or words of motivation to challenge yourself are most impactful when they come from a peer rather than a school staff member. In the latest video series from the Marysville School District, we asked secondary students to share advice and academic insights with other students around the district. The series includes students answering questions like “Why is it important to pass all your 9th-grade classes?” or “What is the benefit of AP classes?” and “Why should you try your best on the SAT?”.

The videos are available to view HERE or on the High School Resources webpage HERE. In addition, during the coming school year, middle and high school staff will distribute the videos school-wide during their school’s specific testing and enrollment windows.

We are so proud of these students for their leadership and commitment to inspiring and motivating students for years to come.
