Military Appreciation Month: Marysville Honors Those Who Serve

May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to honor and recognize the contributions and sacrifices of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Msvl. WA—The Marysville School District invites students, families, staff, and the community to honor the service and sacrifice of those who serve. The district is home to over 200 students with a family member or members currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Through a partnership with Naval Station Everett, district students and families can access assistance and support from the Military Family Liaison and family support staff.

In addition to Memorial Day on May 27th, a day off of school to commemorate the sacrifices of those who serve, several other military anniversaries and events are celebrated in May. These include Military Spouse Appreciation Day on May 10th and Armed Forces Day on May 18th.
