District Increases Opportunities for Community Engagement and Involvement  
The Marysville School District is excited to offer more opportunities for the Marysville and Tulalip community to engage with and participate in our district and schools.  

Msvl. WA - For Marysville and Tulalip residents without students attending our schools, we understand staying connected with the school district can be challenging. Luckily, our neighbors have more opportunities and avenues to get involved with and receive the latest news from the Marysville School District (MSD). 

Great things are happening in our schools and the district, and we want our community to be in the loop! The district’s communications team posts press releases, announcements, and school and district events on the website, www.msd25.org, and on the district's Facebook and Instagram accounts. In addition to tuning in for these updates and information, the district encourages any Marysville and Tulalip citizen without children enrolled to sign up for the MSD e-newsletters, which feature student, staff, and school spotlights and education updates. 

We have the Senior Gold Card Club for senior citizens! You won’t want to pass up this opportunity: a Gold Card allows Marysville and Tulalip residents age 65 or older free access to all sporting events, plays, and other school activities. Sign up for a Gold Card today at www.msd25.org/gold. 

Become a volunteer! Are you finding yourself with some spare time, or are you looking to get more involved in the community? The Marysville School District has volunteer opportunities at any of our ten elementary schools, four middle schools, and four high schools. Fill out the volunteer application by visiting www.msd25.org/volunteer, which includes a criminal background check. 

In addition, the district hosts a Mentoring Program that connects students to an interested community member mentor. Mentors are matched with students based on mutual interest and are simply to serve as interested adults, delivering consistent encouragement and support. Mentorship meetings can occur for up to one hour weekly, in person at the student's school or over a monitored online video platform. Staff or community members interested in becoming mentors may contact Larisa Koenig, District Mentorship Program Liaison, via email, Larisa_Koenig@msd25.org, or call 360-965-0047 to begin the application process. Interested mentors will be interviewed, and reference and criminal background checks will be conducted.
