Marysville Pilchuck Coach Inducted into WA Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame
The Marysville School District is thrilled to congratulate Marysville Pilchuck wrestling coach Craig Iversen on his induction into the Washington State Wrestling Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame.
Msvl. WA - On Saturday, November 4, the Washington State Wrestling Coaches Association (WSWCA) honored five coaches from across the state during the 2023 Hall of Fame (HOF) induction ceremony. Marysville Pilchuck High School’s very own Craig Iversen was among the esteemed coaches to join the prestigious Hall of Fame.
Twenty-five coaches from school districts across Washington were nominated for Hall of Fame induction. The five inducted coaches were selected by a vote of current HOF members and the WSWCA Executive Board.
According to the WSWCA website, Hall of Fame nominees are “eligible [for induction] upon retiring from active coaching for two consecutive state tournaments… Active coaches may be nominated if they have coached for twenty years.” Craig Iversen is among the latter group of nominees: he has coached wrestling at Marysville Pilchuck High School since 1999 and at Burlington-Edison High School from 1994 to 1999.
The Marysville School District congratulates Craig Iversen on his outstanding achievement. The District recognizes his years of service and dedication to students as a coach and a teacher for over 20 years.
