Students Showcase Their Talents in Upcoming Productions
The Marysville School District is excited to announce two upcoming school plays bound to captivate and entertain audiences of all ages. Students from different schools within the District have been working tirelessly to bring these productions to life, and we hope you’ll join us to see their hard work pay off on stage.
Msvl. WA - Coming soon to Marysville: The Marysville High School Drama Club presents "CLUE" on the MPHS auditorium stage on November 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, and 11th at 7 p.m. "CLUE" is a hilarious murder mystery based on the classic Hasbro board game that inspired the 1985 Paramount movie. Six guests gather for a dinner party where a crime is committed, and each guest becomes a suspect. MPHS Drama teacher Roy Klementsen directs the production with assistance from Cedarcrest Drama teacher Darren Oke. The cast and crew comprise students from both MPHS and MGHS. Tickets are $10 or $8 for seniors and students with an ASB card.
You won't want to miss the Cedarcrest Middle School Drama Club's performance of "Night at the Wax Museum" at Cedarcrest on November 16th and 17th at 7 p.m. and November 18th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. This witty and charming comedy directed by Cedarcrest Drama teacher Darren Oke brings historical figures to life in a wax museum. A school teacher and her students are setting up a new wax museum for a class project when the waxy historical figures come to life. In the company of King Henry VIII, Cleopatra, Anne Boleyn, John Adams, Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard, and many others, this hilariously fun production is a must-see. Tickets are $7.
We encourage everyone in the Marysville and Tulalip community to come out and support our talented students as they showcase their skills and creativity on stage. Tickets for both plays can be purchased at the door. Take advantage of these unforgettable performances!
