Why should all bargaining groups have to do concessions but the Superintendents, Executive Directors and Directors not make any concessions?

Why don’t you look to school districts in Southern CA where they don’t use levies to fund their districts and they have prop 13 that restricts property taxes for guidance on how to budget properly? Or better yet, why aren’t we using Lake Stevens or Arlington school districts as an example?

Is it possible to ask for donations from the community (not only parents but the entire community and businesses) in a way that the amount could be claimed/ refunded during tax season, as credit tax? Is fundraising an option?

As far as I understand, the district has been trying to end the Marshall Elementary Co-op program. However, the Co-op has had one of the best scores Statewide. The last time I checked, it was in the top 500. Instead of trying to get a special credit or certification to Sunnyside Elementary would it be better to figure out a way to make the other schools better? One school in the district is not going to support many more incoming students. Before buying a home, parents will look at the school district, and one school is not going to help our district at the end of the day. Maybe more programs like the Co-op would help improve numbers. See why the Co-op has a better score than most elementary schools and try to apply lessons learned.
