The Marysville School District Payroll Office’s role in the education of our students is to provide timely and accurate processing of the payroll documentation of our employees, thereby allowing employees time to concentrate on their tasks of educating students and providing them with a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to learn.
The Marysville School District currently pays the employees under the guidance of five Collective Bargaining Agreements and Consultation Agreements. The Collective Bargaining Agreements and Salary Schedules are available on the Human Resources web page.
As in past years, when we run the payroll for September, we are combining the extra time from prior to September and the contracts/pay plans for September. The issue comes about because the extra time from prior to September is chargeable to the 2015-2016 fiscal year and the September contracts/pay plans are chargeable to the 2016-2017 fiscal year. In order to make sure the appropriate items are charged to the appropriate years, we have to run two payrolls, which then means those on the payroll for extra time from prior to September will notice either two pay stubs on Employee Access or receive two warrants. If you have Direct Deposit, you will notice the two pay stubs on Employee Access. How the bank actually posts the amounts to your account is a bank issue and we can't address that. If for some reason your Direct Deposit has not started, you will receive two warrants. Pay Day for both payrolls is Friday, September 30, 2016. If you have any questions, please let us know.
